As a forerunner of medium voltage power cable manufacturing in Korea, Nexans Korea company continues to make a great deal of investment and technical development to enhance the quality of medium voltage cable. XLPE (Crosslinked Polyethylene) insulated cable is stable intermolecular bonds between polyethylene particles created by thermochemical action, due to the presence of organic peroxide, XLPE has the same electrical properties as the conventional polyethylene and, as a result of stable intermolecular bonds, has better thermal and mechanical properties.

Quality Control Control of XLPE Power Cable

• The interfacial smoothness maintained by 3 Tandem Extruder.
  
• Clean environment has maintained as cleanness class 1000 (Extra-clean).
  
• Water content in XLPE Compound has minimized by curing with N2 gas catalysis.
  
• Daesung check eccentricity at every point of insulation during whole insulation processing by the equipment of ZUMBA X-RAY Scanning Machine in order to achieve our customer's satisfaction.
